About Me
Hi I'm Ashane. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years. I started making video game covers all the way back in April 2002 with my brother's guitar, a Roland VS-880 digital 8-track recorder that took 100mb zip disks, BOSS GT-6 guitar effects processor, Alesis SR-16 drum machine, and some discount Yamaha keyboard. My first recording was Angel's Fear from Secret of Mana. I grew up with two older brothers so I've been exposed to Nintendo since I can remember. RPG soundtracks had a big influence on me at an early age and shaped a lot of my taste and style in music.
I think video games are one of the most immersive artforms for telling a story, even if it's only through the music. Some of my covers aim for that end, like Zealous Entropy, Cessation of Mammon, Crossin' Time.. others, especially my early work are just straight covers. I haven't been active in recent years, but keep an eye out for some releases consistent with the quality you've come to expect.
